The Fall Sessions of 2015 Seniors has proven to be nothing but spectacular! Full of awesome weather and Gorgeous Seniors!
And when I say gorgeous seniors I am definitely including this beauty: Catherine. She has a classic look about her. I know there’s a
movie star that she resembles but I can’t think of who. Perhaps one of you can help me out?
See what I mean about classic? Such a timeless look that Catherine has! Can’t you just picture her in a black and white movie? Kind of
a Hepburn style. I know I can! Lovely…
Not only does Miss Catherine have some of the most stunning blue eyes I’ve ever photographed but she’s got talent! She’s a
flautist. (I had to look up how to spell that!) But, seriously, playing the flute is something I’ve always admired. I played the
clarinette in middle school but the flute was never something I was able to even attempt. Oh, and the eyes? Did you SEE those eyes!?!
I just love how her easy going nature shines through here. I’m sure she’s a driven student though as she’s pretty confident she’s going to
school for Computer Engineering, more than likely at Purdue. Brains and beauty? Cha-ching!!
Yeah, I picked another photo of her spectacular eyes. It’s my blog and I can do that. 😉 How could I resist though?
Catherine, thanks so much for allowing me to capture your Senior Photos. I enjoyed spending time with you and wish you all the best
in your future endeavors. Maybe someday you can write a computer program that writes blog posts for me? lol

If I’m lucky, at least once a year, I get to photograph a Senior that I’ve known for a fair amount of time. I consider it a real privilege to get to capture photos for someone that I’ve watched grow up. Bailey is no exception. She is my brother-in-law’s niece so I’ve known her for quite some time. I’ve gotten to see her go from a preschooler to a high school Senior. And, truly, she’s been nothing but a sweet, sweet girl the whole time. Truly a pleasure to know. And it really shines through in her photos. Here, see for yourself:
Is she not gorgeous? And her eyes!! They’re stunning! Of course, if you’ve followed this blog for any length of time, you know how I am about eyes 😉
Miss Bailey is the full package too! She has played sports through high school, mainly soccer and basketball. She’s lettered as well. Talented!
She’s not 100% on where she’s going to school or whether it”ll be in Nursing or Sports Therapy (I think I’ve got that right?) but I’m sure wherever
she goes she will be a success! Best of Luck Bailey on the rest of your Senior year! I hope it’s full of laughter, memories and lots of friendships to

My oldest recently got new kittens. And, being a college student who likes to come home for long weekends, she brought them with her. Ethel wasn’t too sure about the visitors. Of course the visitors weren’t too sure about her either. That’s Hazel peeking out from behind the closet door.
George was playing in the background. Ethel did her best to keep an eye on him without him realizing it.
Di did her best to get them to warm up to each other. The hissing has ceased but I’m picturing long naps together in the near future. Or ever. 😉
Hazel is quite curious. And fast. It took a lot of kitten wrangling to get this photo. And kitten wrangling is not easy. Or fast. But, when the cuteness is so readily available you do what you gotta do….
This next photo, while just a bit fuzzy, is my absolute favorite from their little photo session. Do you see how that little man leaps? He does that all the time when he’s playing. He took a nap soon after. I wanted to take one as well….but hey, somebody’s gotta do the editing!
Here’s to lots of cavorting and and cartwheeling in your near future!

So…it’s been awhile since I blogged. But, in my defense, I’ve been swamped! And, to tell the truth, I wouldn’t have it any other way! I absolutely ADORE my Senior clients and wanted just one more chance to show off the awesome group that I had this year! So, here, in all their glory, are but a sampling of the incredibleness that they possess.
The color this year lasted an extraordinarily long time. It was glorious. I enjoyed it immensely and
took lots of photos to look back on and savor in the coming Winter months. This little bench beckoned
to me. Sadly, I was too busy to get out and enjoy the solitude and beauty of the moment, but at least I
have the photo to look back on. And, really, isn’t that what photos are all about? So, even though the trees
are now bare, I can still enjoy the beauty of Autumn. My absolute favorite season. What’s yours?

Cats are notorious for finding the warmest, sunniest spots in the house and sleeping the hours away. In our house Maci does it as well. She knows that in the morning hours, when the sun is first coming up, she can lay uninterrupted while the sun beams its lovely warmth in through the basement windows. And, when it moves along its path in the sky, she moves as well. Usually to the living room where she can keep a close eye on the comings and goings of the house. And still hear any promising sounds of food being made in the kitchen 😉
So, this weekend, while I’m on a whirlwind of Senior Sessions, take a moment and enjoy the warmth of the sun for me, and know that Miss Maci will probably be doing the same thing at our house!
