Yes, its true, I am the mother of a high school graduate. I know, I know, it’s hard to believe. Especially
considering my youthful appearance. 🙂 Anyway, Miss Danielle graduated a few weeks ago and, of course,
I had to share some pictures of my girl!
Top: both my girls and me.
Middle: The family
Bottom: Danielle and a few of her aunts, an uncle, and her dad
Top Left: another aunt and her family
Top Right: aunt and cousin
Middle: (fierce) aunt, Steph and Di, the proud graduate
Bottom: an uncle and his family, the siblings
Top: some from the ceremony
Bottom: her dad and her (it’s tradition to give the children their father’s first name as a middle name so he was showing off “his” diploma-lol, Danielle
And this past weekend was the big party! Here’s a few excerpts from the pre-party: Stephanie cleaning and Danielle and Chris doing (doggy) yard duty.
Doesn’t Chris look thrilled?! 😀
An aunt (she likes to be in pictures 😉 ), a cousin and the cupcake bleachers. This was my idea and my friend’s very awesome husband did the construction. It
turned out so nice!
Top: Grandpa and Great-Grandpa, Grandma and Great-Grandma
Middle: her Kyle, Brad, Danielle and I wearing her future school’s t’s!, my party / graduate girl
Bottom: lots of family and friends
I’ve heard it said that it “takes a village” to raise a child. And, I have to admit, without the help of my husband, our families, my ex-husband and his family and
TONS of friends, this child would not be where she is today. (And the party definitely would not have happened!) So, thanks to all of those special people
(you know who you are) for making these days possible!
-thanks for stopping by!
